Welcome to volume 6 of Karma Chronicles, which sees all of us here at Karma gearing up for what we anticipate to be a spectacular high season at our resorts in Bali, Samui and Mykonos. Things are particularly rosy in Karma land right now, as Group Chairman John Spence basks in the glow of his recent award as Australia's top entrepreneur - an accolade for which he was congratulated personally by none other than Australia's Prime Minister Julia Gilard. John's not resting on his laurels though - he's too busy establishing new Karma operations in some of the world's most desirable destinations and continuing to develop existing ones - including Karma Kandara. In our lead feature this edition, we take a closer look at Fractional Ownership at Kandara and why it offers such unbeatable value - as well as a last chance to invest in Karma's award winning flagship resort. Karma is not only about profit though, as evinced by our second feature which focuses on our latest philanthropic project, working with Bali Life Orphanage, who we are helping to build a brand new facility that will give disadvantaged kids the opportunity for a great start in life, filled with support, education and love. In our third feature, we report on Karma's burgeoning social media and online brand strategy, a project that is being by Clinton Albuquerque, who has just been appointed Brand Manager for the Group. As always, we have a host of exciting events coming up, from our legendary Nammos Beach Sessions to regular high season culinary happenings throughout high season. Judy Chapman reports on Karma Spa's new spa tent at Nammos and we bring you all the news from around the network, including the appointment a brand new Group F&B Coordinator. As always, we have a raft of special offers that you'll want to take advantage of as the holiday season arrives. Get ready, it's going to be huge!
