EDITORIAL

Welcome to the March edition of Karma Chronicles – a particularly significant month here in Bali, as we celebrate the Balinese New Year with one of the island’s most fascinating festivals – one marked first by the emergence of monsters and then by silence. Find our more in our Nyepi feature. We also bring you more news of our new development in the Caribbean where we’re going the whole hog and bagging a private island for the pleasure of our clients. Our dynamic culinary tag team comprising Raymond Saja and Simon Blaby has conjured new delights at Karma Samui and Jimbaran respectively – think Asian, Mediterranean and meat lovers’ delights. Upcoming happenings include the arrival of a bevy of beauties from Western Australia and the return of Janine “Powerhouse” Parry for a very special pre-summer programme this June, where fitness and cocoa indulgence blend seamlessly.

Our action packed Easter programme runs from April 01 to April 05 and has a healthy emphasis on feasting at both Karma Kandara and Karma Samui. We also welcome on board a new appointee, who is a familiar face with Karma. We think of it as a reincarnation. And so, without further ado…
