This edition, we report on Karma’s continued patronage of the England Rugby Sevens team. The popularity of the sport is growing exponentially and it will soon be a part of the Olympics. We also welcome a new member of staff, report on some early spring cleaning at Karma Samui and a glamorous fashion show at Karma Jimbaran.

Rugby Sevens around the world in Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania, North America and South America provide the platform for developing nations to test themselves in an international class environment, while also providing a clear pathway to gaining a place in the record-breaking annual Sevens World Series.
Last year, rugby fans witnessed intensely fast and furious Rugby Sevens Tournaments in both Dubai and Hong Kong. As is traditional with rugby tournaments , a long lunch was organized before the tournament to welcome team representatives and officials to the event. Karma Resorts have been proud to sponsor both events with funds being raised for such notable causes as the PRA Benevolent Fund and the Wooden Spoon Society. |

With Rugby Sevens enjoying an increasing profile in Asia, the Asian Rugby Sevens Series represents an exciting opportunity for the Sport to reach out to new fans in the region, people who are increasingly drawn to the appeal of an event that showcases skill, speed and strength in a unique festival environment.

KARMA WELCOMES RUSSIAN SALES REP
 Karma is pleased to welcome on board our new Russian Sales representative Yullia Piskun, who will be looking after things at our brand new Moscow sales office. Yulia brings with her a wealth of experience in the hospitality, sales and customer care sectors and holds a diploma in tourism and hospitality management. We welcome her on board.
KARMA SAMUI CLEAN UP
The staff of karma Samui did their bit to look after the local environment – they spent a day rigorously cleaning up both the beach in front of the resort and the adjoining areas of land – a procedure that is carried out regularly to maintain the area at its pristine best.
BELLE OF THE BALL - DINDARELLA
The semi al fresco poolside hub at Karma Jimbaran provided the venue for a lavish fashion show by Bali based brand Dindarella. The show featured the brands trademark luxuriant and sensual eveningwear in sensual silk, including crepe and flowing shawls.
