A touch of the glamorous this edition as Karma Kandara was graced with the presence of perhaps the foremost fashion scion of Eastern Europe… and then a man with the gift of the gab and a fondness for sports.

ALIONA DOLETSKAYA
Moscow has quickly emerged as one of the fashion capitals of the world, which makes Aliona Doletskaya one of the most influential people in the storied Russian capital, having been at the helm of Russian Vogue for the last 10 years, as the Editor in Chief. She may sound English, but she’s most definitely Russian and she’s almost as high profile as her American counterpart, Anna Wintour – indeed last year, rumours swirled that she might emerge as the latter’s successor (should Anna one day decide to hang up her Balenciaga mules). As a guest at Karma Kandara through the recent festive period, we can certainly report that Aliona is absolutely charming.
"My stay in KK was unforgettable. The place is peaceful, the food is delicious ( don't miss Simon's tapioca dessert and fish in mains) and the spa is beautifying ( check out oxygen facial!). Would love to be back." - Aliona Doletskaya |

GREG CLARK
Less glamorous but extremely jovial and friendly was Greg Clark – widely regarded as one of Australia’s best commentators. Whilst he’s best known as a rugby caller, his high profile status has seen him cover the Australian Open Tennis, the America’s Cup and the Rugby World Cup among many others. |
