| The first issue of Karma's exclusive in-house magazine was published in October. The glossy, large format, magazine has been produced by Singapore based publisher Ensign Media and includes features on Karma's resorts and investment opportunities, as well as more general features and photo-features on luxury living in Asia.
So why did we decide to launch a print magazine? Managing Director Vic Faulkner explains, “Karma is growing all the time, so now seemed to be the perfect time to launch our magazine, which will be a forum for us to communicate with current, past and future guests and investors.”
“It will also be a very important tool for helping us promote the Karma brand in new areas. The company has a very active year ahead and is expanding considerably. Karma magazine is a key component for carrying our message to a wider audience during that expansion.”
Highlights of the first issue include an in-depth look at the Belvedere, Karma Kandara's latest exclusive property development, a profile of highly creative executive chef Raymond Saja, a look at Karma's charity work with Christel House Learning Centre, an exclusive interview with top jewelery designer Poonan Soni and a tale of two surfing towns: Bali and Margaret River.

“It is my firm belief that life is for living and that as well as working hard, one must make time for simple pleasures,” John Spence, chairman of the Karma Group says. “This magazine is intended to illustrate my philosophy and to encourage you to unwind and enjoy one of Karma’s stunning resorts. Whether you prefer wonderful food, satisfying spa therapies, or just good company, I hope you’ll find what you’re looking for somewhere in Karma’s ever growing portfolio of luxury properties.”
With an initial print run of 5,000, the magazine is distributed to Karma's 200 rooms and 120 villas in Bali and Koh Samui, as well as to the resort operator's partner resorts in India and direct mail copies to Karma's database of VIP HNW customers. A digital edition has also been produced for distribution to Karma's mailing list of 80,000 previous guests, villa owners, investors and HNWI's.
