Karma Chronicles
October 2009   Welcome To The Newsletter

EDITORIAL

We’ve lots of content to bring you once again in this month’s edition of the Karma Chronicles. Our Bali resorts have been on the receiving end of some tender loving care Bali style, as important ceremonies were conducted to ensure continued good Karma; we give you an insight into these unique Bali Hindu rituals. October also sees the launch of Karma’s highly anticipated retail line, featuring pieces by some of the region’s top designers, from homeware to fashion. Karma is a community in many ways – that’s why we’ve introduced the Karma Kameleon card, so that our friends can really get the most out of our resorts and services.

We also look forward to the festive season, with a sneak peek at just a few of the myriad things on offer from Christmas Eve right up until 10 January. Spa Curator, Judy Chapman reports on the burgeoning Karma Spa brand as it launches its flagship in India, as well as detailing some enticing special offers. Talking of which, readers will no doubt wish to learn more about our latest exclusive Come Together packages and Dutch Auction – great ways to stay at Karma for less. Low season? What low season.

And on a final note, we look forward to having Esperanca Patricio back behind the editorial desk next month after a brief hiatus – as the acting General Manager at Karma Jimbaran, she’s been understandably busy managing the resort, which re-launched this summer after renovations.
