Sian Evans has been at the forefront of the international dance scene with numerous hit records and has performed at some of the world’s biggest music events including the iconic Glastonbury festival. Sian is most well known as lead singer of internationally acclaimed band Kosheen.

As feature vocalist and co-writer of “Louder” with DJ Fresh, Sian not only released one of the biggest dance records of 2011, she also provided the soundtrack to Lucozade’s Sport Lite global ad campaign, sold over 140,000 POUND in sales in its first week of release and won the Urban Music Award for Best Dance Single of 2011.

In December 2011, Kosheen released the first single from their highly anticipated fourth album “Independance” which is scheduled for release in early 2012. Already in 2011, Kosheen have reformed and played many of the major festivals ahead of this highly anticipated release.

For Karma’s Rockpool Sessions, Sian goes into acoustic mode, playing two shows of rarely heard covers and original material just for our lovely friends at Rockpool on Saturday January 21 and Sunday January 22.
